Paraglide Moab FAQ’s

Guests are encouraged to book reservations early in the day and at the beginning of their trip, as the weather can be unpredictable.

All Paraglide Moab Tandem Pilots are certified USHPA Tandem Instructors and experienced towing pilots.

Flights typically last 15-30 minutes, depending on winds and weather.

We expect to reach between 1500-3000ft above ground level depending on conditions.

We utilize a truck-based payout winch to “tow” our gliders to altitude.

Once we have achieved the desired altitude, we release the tow line and free fly back down to landing.

Passengers must be between 80lbs and 250lbs

Passengers must be able to take a few running steps for launch

We operate in a remote location adjacent to Canyonland National Park.

No services are available in the area and guests are encouraged to bring water, snacks, and sun protection.

Guests are encouraged to stop and use the bathrooms in the BLM camping areas or scenic overlooks before arriving.

Passengers should bring layers of wind-blocking clothing (it gets cold up there), gloves, a buff (neck warmer), supportive "sports" shoes or boots and sunglasses.
